Late variety.
* Seeds for seedlings are sown at the same time as early cabbage: March 15-25.
Caring for seedlings is the same as for seedlings of early white cabbage. However, one should take into account the great need of cauliflower for microelements and in the second feeding add 0.2 g of boric acid and 0.5 g of copper sulfate and ammonium molybdate per 1 liter of solution to the solution. 3-4 days before planting in the ground, the plants are given a third feeding, but without microfertilizers.
Cauliflower seedlings should not be overdried, as the plants will age prematurely and subsequently develop dwarf heads.
Seedlings do not tolerate shading, as this leads to the later formation of smaller heads. Seedlings are planted in the ground at the same time as early white cabbage, i.e. in late April - early May.
Please note that overgrown seedlings take longer to take root, as a result of which the yield is significantly reduced.
Planting pattern: 60x35, 70x30 or 50x40.
Early varieties can be sown with seeds directly into the ground at the same time as seedlings are planted, i.e. in late April - early May. But there is a danger of seedlings being damaged by cruciferous flea beetles.
In order to have a constant harvest of fresh heads throughout the summer, it is necessary to sow the seeds in the ground every 10-15 days 2-3 more times. From the last sowing (late May - early June), the harvest is obtained in September-October.
It should be noted that it is very difficult to grow cauliflower when sowing seeds directly into the ground in late spring, since at this time the weather is often hot, dry and the soil dries out.
1,0 g = 500-550 seeds.
